The Brass Brunch Bunch is a daily FREE social gathering of brass players to work on their daily routine. We have started this group on March 9th, 2020 and have kept going ever since. It keeps us practicing and it helps us network authentically with each other via video. This group is in English for now, but it is OK if your English isn't strong, We Play!

Absolutely! Make sure your parents are around, and please leave your camera off. but this group is designed for all ability levels, as long as you want to practice and get better!
We have spent the last 3 months focusing on Tuba, Euphonium and Trombone. We have just changed our music over to include Trumpet and Horn (Eb or F)
If you are on a computer, you can join us from the browser. If you are on a mobile device you will need to download Zoom.
We eather use a call and responce system with 2 group members, or we have a member lead a different exercise. Join us and see how easy it is!
Absolutely, This is a group warmup club. We have space for all our members to have input, and even lead some groups as well. Do you have a trick that has helped you that you want to pass along?
There has been much debate in the media recently over the lack of diversity in top musical organizations here in the United States. I do not want to pretend that I have any answers that will solve this issue, but there is one truth that many people will agree with: students with the most opportunities will do better and will tend to stay in the music field the longest. Opportunities like private lessons with world famous musicians, traveling to music festivals, and taking part in summer music camps are expensive. The only way to make classical music more inclusive is to give young musicians the same opportunities no matter their financial situation. COVID has turned the music world upside down, but it has normalized distance learning. It takes 10 to 15 years of study to become a professional musician. The more effort we put into the beginning of musician's career, the more it will change the outcome at the end.
No one action can change the world, but it won't change if you don't try.
